Abdulaziz Mohammed Abdo Yamani Chairman
Mr. Yamani has served as the Chairman of Itqan Capital since January 2011. He is the Deputy CEO for Business and Development at Dallah Al Baraka Holding, and the Chairman or Director of several Dallah subsidiaries across the Middle East including Al Rabie Saudi Foods Company, Halwani Brothers, MTN Syria, and AlMaza Real Estate Development. Mr. Yamani served as the Chief Executive Officer of Arab Media Holding Company (ART). Mr. Yamani is a Saudi national and has a Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering from King Fahad University.
Abdulelah Abdulrahim Sabbahi Vice Chairman
Mr. Sabbahi has more than 30 years of experience in business and finance, the last 20 was with Dallah Al Baraka Holding where he is now Chief Financial Officer, as well as a Director of Al Baraka Banking Group. He is also the Chairman of Al Baraka Bank Tunisia, Arab Leasing International Finance, La Société de Promotion du Lac de Tunis, and BEST Lease (Tunisia). His other directorships include Algerian Saudi Leasing, Al Amin Investment Company (Jordan), Al Sham Shipping Company (Syria) among other companies. The Saudi national Mr. Sabbahi has a BSc in Economics and Management from King Abdulaziz University.
Adnan Ahmed Yousif Director
Mr. Yousif has been a Director of Al Baraka Banking Group (ABG) since its inception in 2002, and a President and Chief Executive since 2004. He is also the Chairman or Director of a number of ABG subsidiaries across the Islamic world. Mr. Yousif is a Bahraini national and has more than 34 years of banking experience and was named Islamic Banker of the Year by the World Islamic Banking Conference twice. Since 2007 he has been the Chairman of the Union of Arab Banks. Mr. Yousif an MBA from the University of Hull, UK.
Mohamed Abdulla Nooruddin Director
Mr. Nooruddin is a Chairman of Newbury Investments W.L.L. and a Board Member at Tadhamon Capital in Bahrain. He has over 27 years of experience in the banking and financial sector in the GCC. Mr. Nooruddin was working in the capacity of Advisor to the President of Arcapita Bank (formerly First Islamic Investment Bank) in Bahrain; he also was the general manager from 2003 to 2008. Prior to that, he worked in several management roles in various well reputed financial institutions such as Bahrain International Bank and Gulf International Bank. Mr. Nooruddin is a Bahraini national and holds a BSc. in business administration from The University of Bahrain and has attended various financial training courses around the world.
Waleed Abdulaziz Kayyal Director
Mr. Kayyal has joined Itqan’s board in 2014. He has been the General Manager of Tebabat Jeddah Polyclinics since 2011. Prior to that, Mr. Kayyal was the CEO of NET JET Middle East (a well-known international private jet operator). He has worked in the banking industry for over 20 years, working for SABB Bank and HSBC. After leaving SABB, he joined HSBC as a senior consultant for their Private Banking Business in Saudi Arabia and Yemen. He was also a member of the HSBC Steering Committee for the MENA region. Mr. Kayyal is a Saudi national and holds a BA Degree from the Faculty of Commerce from Cairo University.
Dr. Khalid Abdullah Ateeq Director
Dr. Khalid Abdulla Mohamed Ateeq has joined Itqan’s board in 2014. He is the CEO at Family Bank in Bahrain. Prior to that Dr. Khalid was the Deputy CEO at Venture Capital Bank from Oct 2005 to Feb 2012. Prior to that, he spent 12 years as an Executive Director of Banking Supervision at the Central Bank of Bahrain. Dr. Khalid is a Bahraini national and holds a Ph.D. in Philosophy of Accounting from Hull University, U.K. an MBA from Berkeley, Armstrong University, U.S.A and a B.Sc. in Accounting and Finance from The University of Kuwait.
Adil Saud Dahlawi Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer
Mr. Dahlawi has been the Managing Director and CEO of Itqan Capital since March 2011. He was previously Chief Investment Officer of Dallah Al Baraka Holding, where he oversaw a multibillion Dollar global portfolio of private equity, listed equity, real estate and led numerous M&A transactions in various sectors including food, healthcare, education, and consumer goods. Before 2006, he worked for 12 years in corporate and investment banking at Banque Saudi Fransi and Samba Financial Group. Mr. Dahlawi is a Saudi national and holds a BA degree in Biomedical Engineering from King Saud University.
